
Savannah Cheung , who also goes by Kayun is a designer who embraces art as a form of healing and self expression. She graduated from UC Berkeley with a B.A. in architecture and has experience working for architecture firms that focused on affordable housing and community development. This also supplements her artistry which expands through art installations, 3D modeling, digital fabrication, and traditional art practices.
As a second generation Chinese American, this evoked an intuitive form of creativity to translate her diasporic experience. Her work conveys significant influences from cultural heritage as well as architectural elements and the natural environment. The general composition of her work is mixed media, which provides a multi-dimensional platform to express her story through a visual narrative.
